On a long drive from Devon to Perthshire, and had intended to visit a trio of Staffordshire trigs but torrential rainstorms put paid to that idea. Bright sunshine by the time I reached junction 33 of the M6, so it was with considerable relief & a sense of freedom that I splashed up to this pillar which has its cap in place with shallow engraved lettering, and one sight-hole open.
