Pulled car in to an entrance by a gate through the deer fence only a very short distance west of the FBM. Over the deer fence and easily found this gem which other than a crack is in good order.

Visited on the way to our next campsite at Dunnet Bay. We'd been calling these mini trigs but have now seen their proper names. Couldn't reach this one due to the deer fencing but it's still visible from the road. Re-logging as originally found as Maxiboo22 but consolidating all finds under the one account.

Not an exciting spot, but just getting this far is a feat. The pub at Melvich, a good deal nearer than Thurso, serves filling food - I recommend their beef burgers.

Right on the side of the road but unreachable in the rain due to the fact that a 15ft high deer fence is in the way. Normally I would climb it but due to the conditions and the fact I am on the way to Thurso for food will leave it this time!
