Parked in entrance to track, walked up the road couldn't find FBM at first until we realised it was on the other side of the road, walked along hump between field fence and watery ditch to get to FBM. Third of 4 FBMs bagged that day, others being Tain, Lybster and Helmsdale.

Caithness FBM's complete! Pulled in at a patch of old road to the SE of the pillar where a single track road runs from the A99 towards the A836. Along the roadside towards John O' Groats and the FBM is easily spotted by the road. In very good condition. No special views but the icecream at Flavours was good! Fine views from John O' Groats.

Parked in track entrance to field and crossed ditch, short but wet walk to FBM. Thought about jumping ditch back to road but Mr TJR was giving me the 'don't even think about it look from the car!'

So few logs for such an easy find, so close to JOG. Perched up on the bank beside A99. Easy to park, easy to find, mind the gap as you photograph it though.
