Accessed the trig by crossing a couple of fields off the tarmac road on the "lighthouse loop" walk. Reckon we must have taken a rather convoluted route but got there in the end! Fabulous panoramic views from the trig.

Parked in the National trust car park. An easy walk to this pillar. The sheep have left their mark on this pillar, wearing away the whitewash. Spring lambs and fabulous views. I will return to do the walk NE of Mire Loch and remains of St Abbs Kirk.

Caught bus from Eyemouth to Cockburnspath then an excellent walk back along Berwickshire coast Path. Diversion to trig from the north. Easy to get to and only crossed two easy fences. Excellent views from The Cheviots to the Aberdeenshire coast.
