Drove up lane to copse of trees and didn't see trig, didn't realise it had been moved. Bagged Whatborough Hill and Life Hill trigs before, drove to and bagged Langton Caudle trig afterwards. Overcast.

All intact. Damaged top. Walked down drive to be met by a 4x4 coming the other way. The lady tenant of one the houses explained the drive is now private but readily allowed access to what she thought we were looking for. " the square concrete thing in the yard".

I visited the current location. The road (Home Farm road) up to here is electronically gated. Although the gates were open I decided not to risk it and parked just off the main road for a short walk up. Trig is in the middle of a farm yard and I felt somewhat conspicuous, but no-one appeared to challenge me.

Drove to new location with MarkA. Perfectly legal as its a public road until you get to where the trig is now parked. (Noseley Hall Back Farm Drive.) On way home found that the track shown on the 25K map running past Millfield Clump is actually a public tarmac road. We drove over this cracking views all round. In fact the new location has great views to the north-east
