Drove up lane to copse of trees and didn't see trig, didn't realise it had been moved. Bagged Whatborough Hill and Life Hill trigs before, drove to and bagged Langton Caudle trig afterwards. Overcast.

All intact. Damaged top. Walked down drive to be met by a 4x4 coming the other way. The lady tenant of one the houses explained the drive is now private but readily allowed access to what she thought we were looking for. " the square concrete thing in the yard".

On a walk and passed the original location of this trig point - searched in the trees for it as we didn't know it had been moved - it is still markedon the OS map.

Drove past the clump of trees where it used to stand. Lovely gated road near Rolleston Hall.

I visited the current location. The road (Home Farm road) up to here is electronically gated. Although the gates were open I decided not to risk it and parked just off the main road for a short walk up. Trig is in the middle of a farm yard and I felt somewhat conspicuous, but no-one appeared to challenge me.

Drove to new location with MarkA. Perfectly legal as its a public road until you get to where the trig is now parked. (Noseley Hall Back Farm Drive.) On way home found that the track shown on the 25K map running past Millfield Clump is actually a public tarmac road. We drove over this cracking views all round. In fact the new location has great views to the north-east

Just had to come and have a look at this one now it has been discovered after my previous visit to the original location. These geocachers can find anything - even missing trigs accidently.

Thanks to Saginavalis for GPS readings.Only thing to add would be to take the most Easterly access to the Estate as first one ,though scenic, does say access by appointment only.

Gotcha!! Formerly at SP729993. Relocated to SP739986, at NW edge of yard, Home Farm, just before house at entrance to Noseley Hall. Metal cap, shallow letters, Top corner of pillar missing, otherwise survived its journey intact.

I am mystified - there is no farmyard at the GridRef recorded by dakar4x4. Nearest is 200m further E - gated off and access is discouraged. The photo looks a bit like the farm yard at SP746990 but there was no trig there.

Looks like the farmer moved this one!!! It's now in the middle of his farm yard at the above co-ordinates! I took a wrong turning on a Geocache hunt and stumbled across this one!
Found it way nearly a kilometer away from it's correct location

As previous visitors report, there is no sign of the trig any more. I guess the farmer had enough of ploughing around the trig. I guess it is a garden ornamant now otherwise if it was simply discarded it would be in the nearby copse.
Millfield Clump The trig used to be on the front left of the clump.
