Pulled over on side of road south of the water works in Little Tring near to footpath on south side of the canal. West then south west along footpath. At junction of paths climbed over fence and headed uphill across field. At top no sign of pillar. Checked map and headed south to slightly higher ground, over another fence then across open field. Pillar came into view on south edge of field on other side of barbed wire fence. Being used as a fence post for a strand of barbed wire. Spider and cap in place. Good views all around.

Parking for a few cars S side of canal. RoW mostly to trig, then followed a field boundary. Pillar is sited on SW side of stock fencing. It has a strand of b/w round it to support a fence post. Original cap has been retained, lightly indented lettering; rear sight hole open. Nice 360deg views.

Parked just before canal bridge. Took the path to the left along the canal. Bit muddy but opens out when the fields are reached. Good advise earlier saying walk up the left hand side of the field boundary to the trig.

Parked next to the canal bridge at Little Tring and followed the footpath towards Miswell Farm. Once at the gates to the field with the trig in, you have a choice to make. The trig is either to the left of the fence or the right, and from the gate you can take either side. Well, its actually the left hand side you want, climbing the hill with the fence to your right. Pillar is at the top. Still in good condition with cap intact. Field contains cows and bull, who don't seem to notice you at all. Mind the cowpats.

Missed the first time as couldn't see from footpath leading to canal but backtracked onto footpath through farmers field & found it. Wear wellies as loads of sheep shit to be negotiated. Trig complete with cap & nice views with canal still drained

We parked opposite the metalled track that leads down to Miswell Farm and then followed the footpath and cut up across the pasture to the trig. Nice views over towards Wilstone Reservoir. Plug with indented lettering.

Parked in a minor road to the SE then walked up on the footpaths network past Miswell farm then cut up over the frozen pasture to the trig. No problems at all.

Our 1st angle of approach was pretty unsuccessful due to a barbed gate preventing us from getting to the TP. Not wishing to give up so soon, we re-routed and found a footpath a little further up the canal and followed it up to the adjacent field. Tracing along the field we managed to reach the TP which may or may not be on public land. No fences were needed to be crossed from the footpath, but the TP is definitely on farm land. Nice view of the reservoir from up there.

Plain pillar in wire fence of field with cows on farm near Drayton Beauchamp. Nasty case of goml being chased off the site by farmer and dog in landrover, but TP photographed and bagged beforehand!
