A pleasant walk up from The Range campsite. Plenty of route options on this one and followed tracks from the fishing road but a narrower path back down through the trees.

How do you get from Croy Beach to Culzean Castle? Well if you are the Quadbarrel girls, you walk along the beach. And if you are the boys, you drive round, parking up halfway along the road to run off in to the woods and up the hill to a trig point (and geocache - GC101BH)! Parked up at N55 21.605 W004 44.701 and headed up the track at the far end of the blocked off old bit of road, and then directly up the hill at the top of the track. Lovely views to the West with changing light all the time.

Very good condition pillar standing on the prominent Mochrum Hill near Maybole. Easily accessed from the B7023 at the fly fishing turnoff near West Enoch farm. Parked halfway up the track. Path leads to the top and trig. Squelchy underfoot. Views are fantastic along the coast including Ailsa Craig and Holy Island. FB faces east-ish with all sightholes open though internally blocked. Cap missing and no plug.
