Parked near Bleasdaire then followed the way markers to the top near the trig with a small cloud inversion with Dangerous Dave.

Fantastic sea views with great setting sunlight. We were picked by friends from the Lochmaddy ferry and whisked up here as part of a frantic 36 hour whistle stop tour of the Outer Hebrides

Log #493. I came up from the south-west, but better route would be to come from south-east via burial ground and Hebridean Way. Extensive views across the islands: Harris, Pabay, Boreray, Ensay, Killegray, Groay, Gilsay, Lingay, Scaravay, etc. [ExP-332/MiP-38/Rev-6/BM-39/IS-52/Other-26]

From the SW. Some boggy ground to cover, surprising given the dry period. Fine views NE across the Sound, NW to Pabbay, and S to North Uist. Pillar has a fine screed finish; top cap missing, asphalt plug; LHS sight hole open.

Can't say there was a view from the top but we did get glimpses of views. Being on the islands feels like a priveldge. Such an amazing place.

Second attempt at this one. First one a literal wash out and ended up in Lochmaddy! Walked from ferry and followed nose to trigpoint. Met house owner at foot of hill who told me best way to get up. Can't see trig from bottom but fantastic views from top, especially of Pabbay. Watchout for gate at bottom - advise climb fence instead - i got a blood blister opening gate and was in agony all the way up the hill. Funny peg bag thing attached to trig.
