My Munro #36, climbed with Steve Lyon. We met up earlier in the day, I was up in Scotland Munro Bagging and he had been in Dundee for a couple of days on business. We met in Dinnat (we were booked in to stay the night at the Loch Kinord Hotel - it was very good, would recommend but that was 17 years ago and counting, hopefully still as good...) and left his car in Glen Tanar, then drove in my car south and left that at the car park in Glen Mark, and set off on a South to North traverse. Steve was very hungover from the night before, we took ages to complete this route and the walk out back through Glen Tanar seemed interminable, despite the stunning natural beauty all around us! It was an absolutely cracking day though, fantastic views and it remains one of my favourite days Munro Bagging out of all of them.
