No longer in 'Good' condition - two corners on the top of the pillar have been chipped off. It's about the only difference that distinguishes this TP from neighbouring (and equally mundane) Hill Of Slickly. The fence is a little easier to hop over too.

Roadside, however if you want to hug it or get a flush bracket picture you need to hop wall/barbed wire fence or walk down the road towards the house and open the gate for a short field walk. Anyone who knows me will know the route I took!

HISTORY: Pillar completed 19th September 1951 costing 16.3s.0d. Computed as tertiary triangulation station ND25/T15 in 1952. Levelled for height in 1954. Last maintained by the OS in June 1981. SITE VISIT: Roadside but behind field wall. Adjacent passing place long enough to park in. Easy wall hop. Edge of grazing field. Pillar in good condition. Spider retains original OS centre cap with deep indented letters. Flush bracket faces northwest, ~306. Vented through SE sight hole. Full 360 open outlook.

Roadside pillar but needed to climb the wall to get the FB number! Original plug with deeply-indented letters. Slight damage on top NE/NW faces. No paint. Concrete base exposed about 10" all round. Lovely views except to the E.
