At last Murton was conquered on a circular walk from Dufton with Kendal Fell Walkers. Some very new paths visited, namely Dufton Ghyll and the path from the top of High Cup Nick direct to Murton Pike......the gentle approach with a not so gentle descent down to the village. Words fail me to say how moved I am when I hear "Conquest of Paradise" - Vangelis. It is a reminder of perhaps one of the greatest trail running events that draws to an end this weekend. This is gifted to the finish line at the UTMB to the music of Vangelis.
