A trig point who's name sounds like a comedy double act. Approached via the paddock to the SW which has some nice rocky outcrops in it.

Easy access up field edge from SW, no gate just a large gap in the hedge and a post with a sign saying 'Danger of Death' on it. Only possible cause of death we could find was, as noted below by Moira293, the considerable amount of horse poop as you approach the TP. In spite of this however we managed to survive, and enjoyed some good views on what was shaping up to be a glorious day.

Parked by the plantation on the minor road to the south west of trig, louped the gate and tiptoed through the plantation, hopping over the "horses' doovers" and boggy patches, locating the trig in the corner of the field. We encountered a small flock of very friendly sheep, who were more than happy to partake in selfies at the trig :) Decent views in all directions for such a low-lying trig.

Parked in the gateway north of the plantation on the road west of the pillar. Followed the wide field boundary to the pillar which is located on an outcrop. Although not marked as a public footpath there is a newly erected pedestrian gate at the top of the field. Pillar still in a decent condition.
