Parked at the lake by the Cholera Cemetery and walked up along the footpath. Easy access. Lovely views of the Rhymney and Sirhowy Valley’s. Pillar in good condition, spider and FB intact.

Came up from car park near cemetery/pond. Paths very badly scared from heavy use, off road vehicles and rubbish everywhere. Not the prettiest trig to visit. Poorest one I've visited to date sadly. Best part someone has added a bench seat next to trig to enjoy the views. Trig solid, spider and flush Bracket in place but plug missing.

From parking by the pond, walked up the hill which has been ruined by off-road vehicles and fly tipping. The only trig point I haven't enjoyed visiting. Too many 4x4s tearing about, including one that drove right past the trig point. We were quite amused when it got completely stuck in the deep mud on the way back down. There's a bench to sit down by the trig point, but all the mess nearby means you probably won't want to stay long. Such a shame that the mountain is in this condition.

Parked on the mountain roadside grass verge opposite disused quarry and walked up the hill over rough heathland to the trig, about 600m each way. Pillar is in reasonable condition; some chipping to the top has exposed one of the spider arm ends. 2 sight holes are sealed, 1 is open, and 1 is a becoming unsealed. The cap is missing; residue from a tarmac plug is present. Hence recording as 'slightly damaged'. Good views west over the Rhymney Valley.

Easy access from the West,biggest danger is letting your car out of sight in these valleys(speaking from experience)! I cant love these places ,and coming straight here from the edge of Abergwesyn Common near Beulah the contrast couldnt be greater. Pillar in good condition for the area with none of the graffiti and vandalism that usually greets you at pillars in this area.

After my previous two visits in the area I was just pleased to see this upright and in one piece. Good panorama, but not outstanding. I could see no crack in the pillar as per last log, though there are a couple of lumps off the top.
