Have to say this one's gone, or buried. Either way it's unlikely to see the light of day again.

Mining stopped and sited cleaned up. No sign of conveyor belt. FBM could be buried or gone in site clean up. This could be a project for Jon Digswell Glew.

Drove most of the way to the locked gate - stopped at some kilns and walked the rest. First visitor since descarte1 at the end of 2010. The spoil has settled and has a healthy covering of vegetation. I found the remains of a couple of belts but if they're the ones in descarte1's photos, the FBM is now buried. I didn't have the tools to dig through spoil and rubble. The conveyor belt wasn't working - it may no longer be in use.

Badly dinged FBM located near a clattering conveyor belt. The FBM is leaning and missing a corner based on what I could see. The caveat being....spare/old conveyor belt material had been dumped on top of the FBM! The road up was solid ice with a 3" layer of snow on top. Abandoned the car 1km away and walked in before heading up to Corsencon Hill to catch the sunset.

The FBM has certainly taken a knock. Height indicator gone from datum bolt. OSBM bracket faces 54 NE. GPS plate faces 324 NW. Nearby road was solid ice.

7m S of former road, now a gated track with conveyor alongside. FBM marker almost in line with N-S wall, chipped and leaning, presumably damaged during conveyor construction. No height tag. CCTV facing along road to welcome visitors.
