Love this trig point! 10th pillar in last 3 days on Anglesey. Parked in Moelfre, walked the coast path to Lligwy Bay before heading inland via Brynrefail. Very enjoyable walk on a lovely, if breezy day. Pillar in fine condition but missing its cap. Nice 'panorama info boards' at the top of each face (alas some are faded) outlining what you can see from this grand vista. Great Orme to the East, Puffin Island, Snowdonia range, Parys Mt to the North, South Stack and Holyhead to the West. Terrific!

This is a little confusing to find. The carpark appears to be a very bumpy farm track and one thinks one is in the wrong place, but the car park is just up the lane on the right. A short scramble to the top and one is treated to good all round views. You can see Holyhead Mountain and also Parys Mountain (both having Trig Points). I understand Mynydd Bodafon is the highest point on the main island of Anglesey, just slightly lower than the highest point on the whole of Anglesey, which is Holyhead Mountain. I was rather pleased to do both on the same day.

Parking to E in the layby (car park gate was shut) easy stroll along initially along ROW, then an obvious path across the access land. Pillar is in good condition, some great views from the top of the island (Clem, Halsey, Hardy, Hump, Marilyn, SIB, P30 Tump, WP15.) off to Pen y Castell after.

Can see almost the whole of Anglesey from here as well as Snowdonia and the Isle of Man on the horizon. Use the well used paths to get here as the gorse is wicked. Plug missing and one of the corners of the top is damaged.

Staying at a cottage 20 minutes walk away and saw the trig point from the access track every day. Could not therefore ignore it! Excellent views in all directions but particularly to the south where the Snowdon range on the mainland is very prominent. Unusual feature are the 4 direction indicators on each of the faces at the top of the pillar.

Ran up this one while my girlfriend waited in the car park at the bottom. Great location, nice easy walk/run up and the best view at the top. Loved the hill/landscape guide on each side of the pillar. Felt like could see the whole of Anglesey from up there and will re-visit just to take in the views again

A very short walk up onto the 'mound' on which this trig sits. We were en-route from Holyhead back to the hostel at Capel Curig and took the opportunity to visit this Marilyn & trig. Flat country here, so although not very high (at 168m it only just makes it as a Marilyn) there are quite extensive views - over flat country; not very exciting! The pillar is in good condition and has a pictorial on each side of the trig of the views that can be seen, similar to the trig at Holyhead Mountain.

No plug. Public. Access Land. Along quiet minor road from Brynrefail. Good path from north east up surprisingly rocky little hill. Highest point & only Marilyn on Anglesey island. Viewfinders on sides of trig very useful for spotting other trig hills.

On a surprising mini-mountain, limestone rocks as usual, open area, direction plaques on all four sides of pillar. Fabulous views to Snowdon and all round. Plug missing. Public

I visited this because it is one of two Marilyns on the island. It is a surprisingly easy walk up from the car park and just two yappy dogs to contend with. The track up to the car park is very rutted so take care.

vgc, no cap or plug, elaborate 4-part toposcope fixed to sides, slightly vandalised - Common land in the ownership of Moelfre Community Council. Rocky summit (hazy views this time) OS.db had FB no. wrongly as S7311, which is Rhuddlan Fawr. Prev visit 07

Pleasant trig on this mini mountain range. Trig has a viewfinder similar to the one on Holyhead Mountain. Good views. Tarmac plug pushed through.
