Pleasant walk across rough heathland that masquerades as a footpath - lots of interesting shake holes (aka sink holes). Visited this trig on way to HuMP of the same name a further 1.5 miles to SW (close to Chartists' Cave - worth a visit). Pillar in good condition standing on a plinth. Centre hole has a bitumen plug (might be cement), all sight holes open, pillar has had coat of white paint some time ago. Some of the numbers/letters on flush bracket suffered some damaged, but all are readable. Good 360 views.
