Parked in NT car park in Llanbedrog and walked up the 325 steps to the Tin Man. We then did a circular walk around Mynydd Tir-y-Cwmwd headland, with stunning views of the peninsular and Cardigan Bay, we had beautiful autumn sunshine. Then up to the trig point which has a nice wall and plaque nearby, pinpointing the surrounding mountains. Pillar in great condition. There were several routes along the path up to the trigpoint and also benches along our route.

Returning to Llanbedrog from a pedal and my backside needed a rest (no cycling shorts). Pootled up this little hill and rewarded with some awesome views. Lovely little hill and no issues with paths, however what's on the ground isn't necessarily what is on a map. I took a small slip road to the west of the hill that leads to Forget-me-Knott Cottage. PRoW goes through there garden and runs south east with a caravan park. Path ascends with stone steps and soon levels out. At T junction go right and do a short dog leg, once past a wooden bench to your right take the next path to the pillar. The two pillars accidentally visited today are for the gentleman who thought I should consider the Olympics. It goes without saying with dementia rife you just have to enter their world sometimes. So yes, off to Japan in summer.
