Walked from small car park along forest tracks and footpaths. There is a footpath directly to the trig which is not marked on the O.S map. Which starts at the six way junction of paths.

We parked at the entrance to Bryn Coed to the north, and followed the footpath towards the wood. We climbed over the fence at the highest point, clambered over the bit of wall and headed into the wood, and found the trig surprisingly easily. As previously mentioned it's leaning slightly.
