Road not too dangerous today, and there is a narrow grass verge to walk on most of the way. The FBM is a bit under 2m from the road-edge, easily found

Visited after visiting nearby trig of Buittle Mains. Is half buried in the ground. Parked up on road corner nearby and walked up the road

After braving the 130m near-death march back up the road from the famed layby to the SW, I found this in near-dark by tripping over it. No height tag. Otherwise, good condition.

Mr TJR waited down the road in a pull in whilst I risked my life walking back up to the FBM. Very very busy road. Luckily FBM easily spotted.

Easy roadside spot, parking 125m SW along road at a field ent. Height tag missing, block partially buried in banked verge. GPS playing up and giving an odd reading so not logged here. ***Revisited 22 Mar 2018 with Alex C. Took a spade with me and dug round the pillar to reveal its sides. Noticed a large chip missing from one of the top corners.

vgc, no height tag. On SE verge, 2m from road edge. Not covered today, and is beside the stump of a broken reflector post. Parking available 100m to W by gateway. Also found the nearby G4250, 2nd time lucky
