Visited on a 2 trig circular from the train station at Long Preston, up onto The Pennine Way to Settle (via 1st trig Hunter Bark)then right past Scaleber Force waterfall and onto Langber lane to head back. Accessed the land through a gate in the wall, easy climb up the moorside. When I set off it was glorious sunshine but I arrived at the trig in thick fog so could see nothing of the supposedly great views. Shame, but I may revisit as I really enjoyed the circular walk.

A path branches off to the right through a field occupied by Highland cattle, all of whom seemed placid enough, and then goes through a field occupied by red deer.
