High mark for the 300 year old Nine Standards, not so much for the mutilated trigpoint. I was last here on 9/9/1985, walking the C2C up from Swaledale. Back then we passed Ravenseat, a Yorkshire farm, before it became The Yorkshire Farm. Today's ascent was from the Nateby to Keld road on a clear but very wet track. Visibility was variable with drizzly showers, but we got a view off the top and I particularly enjoyed looking down Dukerdale

Nothing found although theres a shallow circular depression just to N. The OS records give a last maintenance date of 1983 whereas the topo was constructed 1981 so that doesn't explain its absence. Curious that the block is little more that 300 metres from the pillar, with a clear line of sight to it, and was constructed at much the same time.
