Two hundred metres west of the road along a track on the left hand side. FB faces outward but could do with a wash. Mud spattered, probably by commercial vehicles using the track. Difficult to read number. Quarry on south side behind. No views.

Second of three on way home from a day at Tattershall Castle. Private sign noted but as it was a short jog up a decent track, it was felt that no damage would be done. Only the boy wanted to come for this one, the girls stayed in the car. Itchy.

(360) A couple of minutes walk down the track brings you to the pillar. Definitely in need of another haircut now - and a good jet wash wouldn't go amiss either. The FB was partially buried, so a little bit of digging out was required to record the number.

Second of four trigs of the day, a bit of a naughty one. Parked in the entrance, I just didn't see the signs at first about it not being a bridleway and private... Thanks to previous trigger for clearing the hawthorn, it made seeing and bagging it a lot easier. No views as such. By the way, there are a number of signs in this farmland area with the legend 'Beeswax'. My Horncastle mate says its Dyson (of vacuum cleaner fame) spending his billions buying up 25 000 acres of prime farmland.

Parked at end of track on grass verge. Two gates at end of track both open today. Trig on left of track in thick hedge had to trim lots of brambles back to get to it.

Easily accessible and quite visible. Just followed track west from road. Everything in good order and still retains an original plug.

A re-visit after a gap of over 6 years, passing by with my walking group. I can confirm there is a sign similar to that seen by edfielden at the west end of Top Plantation about 2 kms WSW of the pillar. The track is part of a 6 km former carriage drive to Nocton Hall of which about 2.5 kms is disputed as a PROW. We pressed on regardless. The pillar is in very good condition, complete with plug.

Curious sign at start of track to E of trig saying “Bridleway wrongly shown on Ordnance Survey maps no proven right of way”! Slightly muddy track despite the dry conditions. Pillar is on south side of track 250m from road. Nice work by Trigbagger and graeme1527 in digging away at the FB - still visible. Position logged from GPS device accurate to ±5m.

Had to scrape away the earth to get too see the FP, its looking very sad now, paint is all missing, hedgerow has grown up so no views, wet and miserable as well so didn't hang around.

On the side of a 'private' track between two huge daffodil fields [different!]. No paint. All intact with original plug [slightly indented letters]. Very dirty [from passing quarry traffic?] and I had to clear the flush bracket to see the number. All sightholes below ground level. View not clear due to hedgerows.

Difficult to rate the scenery as it was dark, but otherwise a good example. FB partialy buried. No sight holes visable. I pass this one within 400 yards every day on my way to work.

Today was damp and misty so I couldn't judge the quality of the view. The track leading to this trig was rather muddy but the FB remained clear after Froginabog presumably cleaned it.
