Stunning wee hill at the very eastern end of the Ochils range. Superb views in 360 degrees with a helpful view indicator. Trig remains in good condition with no change since last report in 2015.

Pillar remains in good condition, with asphalt-filled plug, and one sight-hole open. Luck was with me today - I'd just got back to the car which then took a battering from some giant hailstones. I love this changeable weather; just sat back and enjoyed the entertainment for ten minutes.

Good condition pillar atop prominent local hill. FB faces east-ish with west-ish sighthole open only. Cap missing with asphalt plug. Little toposcope nearby. Superb views along the Tay Valley and back across to the Lomonds and friends. Stunning especially with some slightly interesting weather!

Climbed from the minor road to north on a lovely dry clear day meeting 2 local ladies on the top...great views.

Also to East Lomond, Dunbog Hill, West Lomond, Ben Cleugh, Ben Lomond, Ben Ledi, Ben Vorlich, Ben More, Ben Lawers, Schichallion, Ben Vrackie, Beinn Dearg, Carn Liath, Carn Gower, Ben Macdhui, Mount Blair, Glas Maol, Lochnagar, Driesh, Kinnoull Hill, Pole Hill, Westerkeith Hill, Craigowl, Dundee Law, Tay Mount, Lucklaw Hill, Myrecairnie Hill, Drumcarrow Craig, Largo Law, Mount Hill, Clatto Hill, Lammer Law, Arthurs Seat, Allermuir Hill. Completed 25th June 1948. Secondary station in Block NO42, Dundee. Revisited and photographed 18/06/2005, GRP.

First visit. To record FB number. The pillar was completed 25th June 1948 costing 11.3s.0d. Later in 1948 this marker was computed for triangulation as secondary station NO42/12 in the Dundee block. The flush bracket was levelled for height in 1967. This trig point was last maintained by the OS in July 1982. Circular walk from Cupar railway station. Big views all round.
