Bagged on the way from Caernarfon to Beddgelert for the afternoon. Parked in the lay-by for the short walk to the farm buildings and just beyond to where the FBM is sited. There was a black dog tethered by a rope and the area around the buildings looked more industrial with the numerous parked lorries etc. There were a few sheep with their lambs in the small field opposite the farm buildings. The FBM wasn't immediately apparent. This was because it was partially obscured by a parked van that could have been parked with greater ease where the other vehicles were located. The FBM appears in good condition but the height tag is missing.

Parked in nearby layby and short walk up the road then down the farm track. Met friendly farmer who pointed us in the right direction and said they've had a few visitors to see it.

Good condition granite pillar near farm. Parked halfway along the track and walked in the rest of the way. Chatted to the lady of the farm who had a few stories about previous baggers. Height tag missing.

I couldn't resist this FBM, although I dont know what it was doing in a farm yard. The old farmer died 2 years ago and his daughter lives there now (works in the PO in Caernarfon). Her nephew and wife are running the farm. Dog (Jess) is still in a cage. The FBM is easily located NW of the farm by the side of the PRoW. Rather a chunky chap to other FBMs I have come across. A life well lived and to the fullest, this chunky chap is for Prince Philip RIP.

Parked on road east and followed footpath/track to FBM, I would guess this has to be one of the furthest FBMs from a road in the country, saw no one else about unsurprisingly apart from a dog who came up to us from the farm nearby, didn't seem particularly vicious though. Hot and sunny. Afterwards went to bag Twt Hill trig pillar.

Parking on the road to the W (about 100m S there is a lay-by) walked from there along the road then up the ROW, FBM located just the other side of the farm buildings, one crazy dog in a cage. FBM in good condition.

Parked in a layby on the road to the west, south of where the track to the farm starts. At the gate to the farm I med some people who tried to convince me the footpath I wanted went NE from there. Eventually convinced them I wanted to go to the farm but was warned about the pigs. Found the FBM no problem as it is on the footpath just the other side of the yard.

FBM easily found after longish walk in from the north with Alex Cameron. It was harder to find and follow the footpaths than find the FBM.

Approached from the east on the track from Cae-Forgan. Plenty of cows gathered around the trig but no farmer or dog to be seen.

Easy to find, just beyond the Farmhouse with lots of angry dogs, which were all chained up! Thankfully! The farmer was very friendly and most helpful and was keen to tell me lots of stories about the various visits he gets to the FBM.

UTF - vegetated slope & new bypass, poss destroyed? Don't recognise Barry's pic at all. Start of mapped lane from E is still there. Thereagain, could be 'cos I was looking in the wrong place (well spotted, Barry!) Doh
