Parked car opposite Hill Top Farm and lucky to arrive at the one small spot for a car. Short walk west along bridleway. Pillar located on south side of bridleway and in a wheat field. Spider plug has a tar infill.Lovely spot and great views to the south.

Enough room off road for a vehicle where Tandridge border path crossed the road. Quick run up to trig set just in field. Nice views. Run back down and off to number 5 of the day.

North east of Reigate, by road from the A23, turn right immediately after going over M25, head east and over the M23, at T junction, left and uphill towards Chaldon. At top of hill North Downs Way crosses the road. From there on foot after about two hundred metres on the south side of the track the pillar is visible on field boundary between fields. Excellent clear views to south at the time, South Downs visible in the far distance. Views to the north blocked by vegetation along the NDW but easy enough to cross path for clear views towards London. Landmarks were visible at the time including Canary Wharf, The Shard and city, Wembley Stadium and possibly the Eye. Extra points for views and special FB number.

From appropriately named Hilltop Farm to the E. Pillar is 15m along an old field boundary to S of RoW. Nice coat of white paint, getting a little grubby now but showing up brightly in sunshine. Asphalt top plug; BSM-style FB; rear and RHD side sight holes open. Extensive views south on a crisp, frosty morning. M25 noise intrusive.

Managed to park by the houses to the north and walked up the narrow road then the bridleway. Best of the day. 120 degree panorama to the south. The FB number came as a nice surprise as I hadn't researched this one beforehand.

First trig of 2009, and a walk to celebrate Valentine's Day (beats roses any time for me!). Passed on our NDW walk from Merstham to Oxted - trig was at the top of an exceptionally muddy hill, two steps up and one step back. Great views to the south.

Great location on the North Downs with excellent views to the South taking in Reigate and Gatwick airport. Trig in good condition with FB intact and Spider with filled in centre cap. For any fellow radio amateurs this should be an excellent take off point for VHF/UHF radio comms. The Ordnance Survey website lists the computing year as 1945 and the elevation at 202.16 metres (663.25 feet).

An easily accessible trig with great views to the south.

Paint very flaky. Good views to the South. GPSr gave altitude of 199m cf OS map spot height of 202. Would advise against trying to park at the end of the track, or indeed anywhere on Hilltop lane as you may well be blocking private drives, or clogging up passing spaces. There's plenty of onstreet parking in Chaldon itself.

We parked to the east, couldn't park at end of bridlepath as somebody was already there so parked up track that leads to Hilltop Farm. Good views to the south. Tarmac plug.

PROW is blocked to prevent use by cars but fortunately far enough back from the road to allow you to park in it. Then an easy stroll to the trig with a reasonable view

Located just off the North Downs Way Bridlepath about 250 Meters from the road. Pillar is in good condition and was painted white in the past, the paint is now peeling off. Good views to the south.

Sited on a farm track a few yards south of the North Downs Way. Great views all round to the south. Would have been better if the weather had not been so hazy.

Drive out in the blue Spitty - beautiful day, drove all the way there and back with the roof down. Great views S - even the M25 and M23 were tolerable!
