A short and easy hill climb leads to a pillar which, unusually, is below the summit. Great view, but only in one direction.

Parked at the end of the footpath on Raycomb Lane, just enough room for 1 car. Then along the footpath all the way to the trigpoint. Nice view on a lovely sunny day. Trig is not at the summit and neither is the seat sadly and this is as far as I walked. Summit - 'ground 200m NW, 60m S of trig point, at SO 72359 41769 is 0.4m lower' - next to a fence apparently in the woodland.

Parked at St James the Great church in Colwall, about a mile away hopping on a marked footpath to the right of a house at a junction a quarter of a mile away. Easy route to follow, a few stiles to tackle but a nice walk overall with great views!

2/3 Second pillar on Malvern Midsummer Marathon. Pillar set on low grassy hill on western loop of the event. Still significant mist spoiling views across pretty countryside, some fine properties in this area

Lovely walk from Wellington Heath village hall across the parkland to the hill. The local hunt was 'out' at the top, and as they continued down the hill nearly every hound made for the pillar making it the most piddled upon pillar in 20 seconds ever (see photo).

Parked in a layby infront of a apple orched after going up a road to a house where a nice fella came to see wot we where upto as we were on his land but he was nice enough an guided us to the next road an the layby , quick run up we dint really have time for this trig as we had to get home for the kids but pedal to the metal we bombed it up a few fields to bag this one an we would of made it back in time if it wasn't for the flat tyre on the m6 but Welsh trig number 2

From NE (good parking on grass verge) on foot path initially through apple orchard then steps through nice deciduous wood to fields of deep grass to reach grassy summit. Open access with bench on summit. Trig point on NNE shoulder. Good views W of hills fading int a golden sunset. Sun finally dips below the horizon at 21:32, eve of the longest day.

From the N on PRoW. Pillar is vgc with a smooth screed finish all over and a dirty coat of white paint. Original top cap is retained, with deeply indented lettering; all sight holes open. Nice 360deg panorama.

Walking from Malvern Link Station to Ledbury Station. Had hoped to catch a train back but it was cancelled due to a signalling fault but managed to catch the last bus of the day back to Malvern.

Parked at the church of st james the great, Colwall. Followed the Geopark Way, crossing Cradley Brook, then up through an apple orchard, woodland & finally to the open summit.Nice pillar,not quite the summit. Stunning views across Hfds to Wales,Shrops & Worcs hills. Lovely spot on a warm,sunny day. I drive within 2 miles of here to work yet its taken me over 4 yrs of trigpointing to bag this one. Well worth the wait! Returned the same way. Thats the Ledbury trigs completed

Unusually the pillar is quite a way from the summit of the hill. Visited on a walk from Ledbury to Malvern stopping off at the nearby Farmers Arms in Wellington Heath.

A great spot. Take a look at the nearby bench - its got a good inscription on the plaque. The trig is now painted white. Plug intact. Came up here first and then onto Frith Woods. Much better views from here than the latter.

Nice sunny day. Lovely views over the Malverns to the north east, and Ridge Hill (Marcle) to the west. It appears to be located on an old manor estate with a newly restored Georgian house to the south. A really nice secluded spot!

Headed in on the FP from the road Junction to the NE where there is room to dsafely park. not the shortest point but a nice field and woodland walk none the less

Easy access pillar, on a public footpath off a narrow lane but a lay-by to park in. It's all intact with the original plug - deeply indented letters. A few traces of paint. All sightholes open. Concrete base exposed on all sides except S. In the centre of a pasture field with a mixed herd of friendly Fresian and Jersey cows. Lovely views N to Clee and end of Malverns, and W to Welsh Hills. Lovely spot.

Nice spot,unfortunately had left map at home so was on GPS alone and it said the closest i could get was a lane to the West,a scramble and a couple of fences later i was there ,thinking i was on a trespass didnt stick around ,only now am re united with said map can see its on a footpath .....

Strange trig is on the northern slopes not on the summit. Missed logging it when I climbed it. Even though its logged it on hill bagging.

A short steep pull from a narrow road in darkest Eastern Herefordshire. Great view. Visited on the way to the football.
