Lay bye on road south of fort (100m) with information board. The fort is area is open to the public and easy to walk around. Did a bit of gardening around the trig to take photos. A bit misty today but not too bad a view.

Didnt like cycling along A38 even if it was down hill and i was catching up a tractor. Turned off just before Castle Air site. Nice after that though, not too hilly. Trig is next to hill fort and not at highest point. Good views over the Solar farms towards Plymouth. It was down hill all the way to the accommodation and fresh bead to make the breakfast toast with!

These old builders certainly knew how to pick there spot. Doubt you would get planning permission for your fort now. Superb views

If you are coming to this from TP3406 "Goodmerry" ,try and avoid the road that goes past Haye Farm as its awful! Really narrow and overgrown . Pillar loated about 30 ft from old fort ramparts .
