Parked at entrance to Burton Court and then over the gate just down the lane. Pillar was surrounded by tightly growing young crop so settled for a long-range 'visit'.

Parked in the minor road to the west, over a gate, turned right through a small gate then followed the hedge, pillar on the south side of the hedge. Last pillar today and the last of the year.

Parking for 1 car at field entrance, 2 gates to hop. Trig is on S side of hedgerow. Field recently planted but enough of a grass strip to walk along. Pillar in good condition with remnants of its coat of white paint; original cap with deeply indented lettering; rear sight hole only open. Cleared a lot of nettles and some elder branches. Good views N & S; W obscured by tree line; E partially obscured by trees.

1st trig of the year for me,hot on the heels of the legendary Glaslyn.Parked by Burton Court. Quick hop over 2 gates into field.Farmer in next field but no problem.Very frosty & foggy today. Nice pillar.

Approached from the west. The trig is on the south side of the hedge and the field was full of wheat ready for harvesting. Plug with heavily indented letering.

Another easy hop over a ploughed field.

On the edge of a pasture field close to the hedge with easy access over a gate off a lane just off the A44. Spooked a buzzard in the adjacent copse and, judging by the dive-bombing it gave me, it could have been nesting! The pillar has an original plug with indented letters. The east face hole is open, the others filled. Traces of white paint on all faces. Good views to the south and southwest.
