Parked at the Lead mines and walked up and over through farm land. Walk done of an evening with beautiful sunset. Easy walk, trig good condition, views good over Wrexham.

Track from road to NW. Rough sides and rounded edges to top but generally GC on grassy tumulus(?) in Heather moorland. Overcast - cumulus, WSW wind. Good views if a little grey.

FRom the road to the NW, tracks lead straight to the pillar for an easy ascent. Decent views from the pillar even on a hazy day I think the top has been repaired with mortar

K Quick climb up from the track end (ample parking) through some of the lead workings for a sunset trig. Had the sun to the W and the moon to the E. Good views.

What amazing views, you can see the mountains on one side, miles of flat towards Cheshire. you can even see the sea.

On a tumulus, with a surrounding ditch (checked later on Welsh Historic Environment record: confirms tumulus is probable Bronze Age barrow, but date of ditch uncertain). Gorgeous views to the west today as visibility excellent. Nearby mine shaft capped in concrete

Parked on open ground north west of the trig and walked up the track, turning to the right when you see it. Trig is on a grassy mound surrounded by a stone circle. Nothing too old but looks really good. Good views all round.

I first found myself this way back in the spring of 1998 when I was student in NEWI college Wrexham. I'd been past on the moorland road several other times since then so it was good to eventually make it those last few yards up to the trig. Today was a bit grey and overcast (I rarely get a good view eastward across the Cheshire Plain), but it could have been a lot worse I suppose.

Took a diversion whilst riding the Llandegla MTB trail; the initial plan was to bag Cyrn y Brain AND this one - but the mapped track towards the top of CyB from the Offa's Dyke path didn't seem to exist on the ground (or, I simply couldn't see it in the rain), so it was just this one. It'd be a good viewpoint in better weather. Sadly that was lacking today.

easy to find, walked from the lead mines carpark, but noticed a few 'lazys' parking nearby the trig and walking up as its only a 10 minute hike from the road to the Trigpoint, lots of wimberries around to make a pie, also wild raspberries and blackberries. Alfie the dogs first mountain walk (he is only 1year old) good views, but i am biased as i grew up here and still live local!

enjoying the views and a drink of water the rosie ramblers 2nd trig point unfortunatly not all of us could be there, but maybe another day we'll get a group photo!

Short walk in from minor road to Worlds End.Good views normally but quite hazy today .Unusual find as there was a tame ish squirrel on top of the pillar,thinking it would disappear as i approached took a couple of shots from a distance . Think it couldnt decide whether it was better to jump and risk the dog or stay put so got some closer pics!
