Parked at the Parsley Hay Bike Hire Car Park (free after 6pm) and walked along the grass verge next to the A515. Entered the field via an unlocked wooden gate opposite the farm marked "B Woolley & Son" on Google. Grass was nearly waist high, but easy to walk through. Avoided the livestock in the adjacent field and having to climb over any walls/electric fences.

Pulled over by gate on east side of A515 at a slight bend in the road. Pillar visible from the road about 100 metres to the east. Over gate and along wall boundary. However pillar on south side of wall with barbed wire fence so continued east for another eighty meters to gate and then back west to pillar. Fabulous views to south.

Parked in Tissington trail car park, short walk towards A515, trig point located not far from road. Trig was in field next door but right up against wall. As farmer was about, we touched trig pillar and made our retreat.

Following an eight mile hike out of Youlgrave with no trig points along its route except for the church, I spent the afternoon trigbagging, clocking up another seven miles in short hikes and an equal number of trigs including 6 of the Peak District 88 pillars. I parked close to the Tissington Trail and walked uphill next to 5he very busy A515 to find the pillar just a short distance from the road side. The views are reasonable and the pillar is in generally good condition but the centre of the spider is missing.

re-visit. re-joined Tissington Trail after visit to Wibben Hill and breezed along to Parsley Hay. The kiosk was open, but didn't use. Pleasant to have a very rare face-to-face chat with two other cyclists (while distancing). Short distance up A515. One gate into adjacent field and just claimed with a touch over the wall.

Cycled to 3/4 today and this was so easy peasy to reach. There is a new, large wooden gate opposite the drive to Moscar Farm. Nip up the field and the trig is almost part of the wall. Todays trigs are dedicated to all the NHS staff. Thank you, thank you a million times.

Saw this on my dash-mounted Satmap whilst driving by on the main road so pulled into the nearby gateway. Short stroll up to the pillar, cows a distance away so not a problem.

Approached from minor road to the east along footpath. When we arrived at the main road the farmer was just leave the field in front of the trig point. Quick walk through two gates to trig and back job done.

Risked parking near the gate on the main road and paying this one a quick visit. No sooner was I in the snow covered field than a hare hopped out and rand infront of me - excellent. I had to kick away at the snow to reveal and photograph the FB.

First of two trigs while out on a great day walking the trail with my mate, Tracker Dog, on my 6-0h birthday. Trig easily spotted but had to do a bit of wall scrambling to get to it, only seeing the gate to the field when we went back to the main road. Great views all round, had to give it 8 in contrast to the lower scores registered. Tumulus nearby adds to the interest! Is the nearby Benty Grange farm the site where they dug up the Anglo Saxon helmet? By the way, my 1:25000 map has the grid ref clearly as 146 643. Which is correct? On to Lean Low.

Parked, payed, and displayed at the cycle place then north along the trail before hanging right through Moscar farm. (Uninviting.) Hit the main road and clambered over barbed wire/wall at a corner. Pillar quite obvious. As was the easier exit over the gate. Still, makes a quick circular route.

From Monyash along The Rake to PROW at SK148645. Missed the wall I'd planned to guide me round to the trig so ended up on A515. Considered hopping over gate but could see farmer in his yard just down the hill and I was put off by the presence of cows in the field given my recent experience on Blakelow Hill !! Asked at Moscar Farm for permission to enter field. Farmer seemed a little bemused that I wanted to climb a hill to take a photo of a lump of concrete but permission was happily given. Ground eroded on field side of pillar and concave plug on top. Views pleasant if unspectacular.

Out for a walk with the Squarry Club (google Squarrites on foot). Other search engines are available! A handful of us split from the main group to bag this. Great circular walk from Monyash, with a pre-arranged lunch stop in Chelmorton. Rabbit casserole washed down with a few pints.

Approached this pillar through open gate on B road of the 515 easy walk up hill.This location was visited for its Archealogical reason as well.The tumulas close by was excavated by Thomas Bateman ;The Barrow Kight;from Middleton by Youlgrave in the 1800s.Important Treasures were found now in Sheffield Museum why when found in Derbyshire.Batemans grave can be visited in Middleton.After leaving the tumulas and heading back to the car a muck spreader came through gate,after having a chat and explaining my reasons for being there had nice chat with him.His concerns were that treasure hunters were now visitng this area on his farmland.He kindley said we could park in their farm gate on 515 and walk over the 515.He said the family were happy for people to visit this location for the right reasons.Off to Long Rake then Middleton to visit Batemans Grave.

Fourth of six today as I try and pick off the Peak District pillars. Used gate entrance about 200 yards to north west of trig, on opposite side of road to park and walked back along busy road. Broken wall and loose barbed wire provided access and then short walk across the field. Location is nothing special.

Didnt fancy parking on the A515 so pulled up on the verge of the minor road and wandered down the footpath located to the northwest of the trig to the A515. This footpath was exceedingly muddy! Then its just a few hundred yards to the trig from the field gate.

Bagged on a circular walk starting at Monyash and came across field from NE. also accessable from A515 but limited places to park on this fast road.

Just off the A515. Very cold morning with frost on the ground. The pillar has a plastic plug replacement but otherwise is fine. No white paint visible. North sight hole open, the others closed. Good views over the plateau. Right by a drystone wall.
