Fabulous weather, terrific views, and this marked my 700th pillar bagged, chosen specifically because there is no pillar! To be fair the erratic was worth the journey alone...

A walk of two halves. Set off from Street Gate on the path to Arncliffe Cote in quite thick mist and then had a big problem circumnavigating Great Close Mire area as it was flooded. After that it was a nice green path to Lee Gate and we followed the walls to work out where the trig would be. Easily found but no views. On the way back the cloud suddenly lifted and we found ourselves in previously unseen sheep covered hills. Had time to visit some limestone rocks balancing one on top of the other on the skyline around Lee Gate High Mark but at the moment I can't find anything out about them.
