The Trig is next to an Air Navigation Radio Beacon that I could see from quite a distance. Easy cycle along paths right into filed where trig is hiding in a hedge.

Sighted close to the NATS Midhurst DVOR air navigation beacon. Trig well embedded in thorn hedgerow, winter best time for this one. Cut away a fair bit but no saw so limited in what I could do. Pillar in good condition with original cap in place, deeply indented lettering; front and RHD sight holes sealed, other 2 not determined.

I parked on the road to the north at Peacocks Farm and then used the track and service road to the mast to reach the pillar. This is behind a wire fence in a hedge but reachable and has the flush bracket facing out. In good condition and retains an original metal indented lettered plug. A most interesting location being overshadowed by the large beacon.

On a circular walk from Balls Cross and Ebernoe. Trig easily accessible - buried deep in hedge but in vgc. Overcast (and very heavy showers during the afternoon) but 180 deg views to the east, and the interest of the air traffic beacon behind.

Having come from Stag Park farm where there were a nest of bees we came here instead, more bees! Not as close to the trig but still worth taking care. trig was in good condition but buried in the hedge row until we got there. Good views although we did not stay around very long.

Hidden in hedge behind the Air Navigational Radio Beacon. Strange building, looks like it has just floated down, stands out in landscape from the road near Peacock's Farm. Nice free apples by road thanks to Peakcock's, just what I needed on my 'trig' cycle.

The first time I tryed to find this one there were sheep with lambs in both fields so I gave it a miss. This time I had better luck. We happen to be close during a walk in the woods near Northchapel so chanced a look. Not the easiest to find but possible. It was smack in the middle of a section of the hedge behind the strange UFO type thing. Appears to be in good condition with a hint of white paint still on it.
