Bagged along with 3 Donald Deweys and Enoch hill trig on a horseshoe walk with my car in lay-by north of Peat Hill trig and being dropped off at forest access track to SW (NS517081). I was warned of the dangers of the re-opening of the quarry and logging operations but not stopped. From Enoch hill, there is an ATV (large caterpillar treads) track north via gate @ NS 5548 0828. I left this to reach Peat Hill trig and continue to my car (rough). The track must continue to the road - possibly between Polmathburn Bridge and Maneight?

Vgc pillar. FB faces east-ish with all sightholes open except east. Internal bolt not visible. Cap present with sunken lettering. Good views north, south blocked by Enoch Hill! Accessed from a layby to the NW. There's a relatively visible path through the field there to the trig.

Had intended going on to Enoch Hill, but had stupidly left boots at home. Too much bog beyond the first trig to make this very appealing.
