Can be seen through the trimmed hedge. Stopped in road for quick snap, with it being New Years Day and quiet. Low and behold someone drives up lane haha. I seen it and photographed, it's in the bag.

Parked next to the gates at the field entrance and entered the field through a gap in the bush. Trigpoint located 10m from the large tree along the bush line.

Parked to south at Delly's Brake, it gateway. Walked back along road to gate opposite house, over gate into trig field.

The gates into the field (opposite the house Highfield, just to the N of the trig) were open, so I practically drove up to the trig. Trig was next to the big tree, before the comms mast. Long grass in the field, overgrown vegetation around the trig. Trig was in good condition, BSM-style FB, centre cap missing, front, left and right sightholes closed, rear sighthole not observed. I pushed a 2p coin into the soil directly beneath the FB for the next visitor to find.

Driving home from an underground visit down one of Wales' last deep coal mines near Neath. Stopped at Magor services and realised how many local trigs there were so a minor detour! This one in vgc, metal cap indented letters, good 180 deg views west from coast up to Brecon Beacons.

Located on the field side of a roadside hedgerow, access to the field through a gate close by. Some views to be had, bit misty when we visited to be classed as 'good'. Pillar is in good condition.

Parked a little down the lane then walked upto the trig. Easy access into the field from the open gate. Nice views from the trig across the field, but very windy today.

The pillar stands amongst some nettles next to the hedge of an arable field that is easily accessed through an open gateway from the adjacent road. It has a metal cap with shallow lettering and has FB S/3326 facing into the field. Westwood Hill lies to the north; Mynydd Maen in the distance in the northwest; to the west is Newport and to the southwest are the steel works and a view down the Bristol Channel to Flat Holm, Steep Holm, the western end of the Mendips and the hazy outline of some hills of West Somerset.

We approached from the north. Trig is in field on right just before the mast, protected by a sheep pen. Plug with indented lettering.

I'm writing this in Aug 2018 having just dug out some old maps and found notes on a few trigs I did 20+ years ago before I even realised this site existed! My map notes say, "Drove up on our way to Caldicott Castle. Views to NW of forested hills. Trig behind hedge near unmarked mast."
