Circuit via Calder Aire link, The Waste (hello plovers) and back via "Top Withens" - the sycamores by it a beacon on the moor as the slowly growing rain storm at last moves in. FB #11900 and FB painted white. Views to Ponden Res, Withins and memories of the Pennine Way. Also Worth Valley, Keighley towards Rombalds. Not going to mention Ovenden Moor. This takes me to over 50% of West Yorkshire's trig pillars - 69 down 68 to go! Which is why I went for a good one, which this is.

The weather today was wild, windy & rain-gusted - you could perhaps say 'wuthering'. No one up here today (not even Kate Bush). And then the bonus of a trigpoint. Returned to Haworth to the Black Bull where Branwell used to drink. Great literary, trigging, & railway day.
