Totally over grown in the playpen by bind weed and nettles. Cleared away with a sickle and a rake. In good condition.

About a mile off the main road, the lanes leading to it were very muddy at this time of year. Parked at the gate of the bridle way, next to the old outbuildings. Looks like the trim it had has lasted

In line with and on the W side of the steel barrier on the bridleway / farm track. Set in play pen which it shares with abundant nettles. A rare height tag attached. Play pen railings slightly damaged on one side.

Obvious in pen in much vegetation behind garages. Height tag as well as both plaques. Approached on public road to south . Can park at end of road. In line with bar gate. Pole for thrashing useful.

Good condition FBM in the most overgrown playpen I've even seen. It was just a cuboid of greenery. Took 15 minutes of pruning just to see the playpen itself. The FBM sports a height tag reading "104.40ft".

Tried to approach from the north and found the byways gated and locked. No problem from the south. Playpen overgrown but a little whacking took care of that. In pretty good condition with plate intact.

A Drive too FBM along narrow lane till the crossroads at the end, FBM located in standard "playpen" just past the grotty looking garages. looked to be in good condition although the pen is very overgrown, crap area.

2 years since last T:UK log and again railings almost totally obscured by vegetation. Cleared sufficiently to view FBM and left it at that - this is the first FBM 'playpen' I've been unable to enter. Height tag in place, but couldn't read it.

The surrounding boundary rubbish heap is now starting to fall in to the pen, and the abandoned garages look unstable. Vegetation died back at the moment to get a couple of GPS Photos. OS could do with some TLC at this site!

The FBM marker is situated inside its bramble filled pen, tucked behind a pair of derelict garages on the side of a dirt track to the north west of Wimborne Minster. The surfaced road ends a short distance away. The green paint on the railings is peeling but the pillar appears to be OK with an OS GPS plate and an old Bench Mark plate on its side. It is sited in an area of flattish agricultural downland on the edge of Cranborne Chase AONB. Nearby hedges and trees restrict the view; all that can be seen is the track heading towards the downs and glimpses of some of the nearby fields.

We came to find this FBM on the way to Wimborne from our holiday cottage at Tarrant Keynston. It was totally overgrown and we only knew it was there by its surrounding fence. Thrashed a few nettles to get some pictures!

Enclosure very overgrown, so initially very difficult even to see the pillar. Clearing some of the vegetation showed pillar to be in good condition complete with height tag and OS Bench Mark plate with GPS plaque below.

Nettles starting to grow, but not too high. Playpen could do with a coat of paint. Very nice example of an FBM, with height tag intact.

The pillar is enclosed within a metal railing and ooh, ahh, surrounded by stinging nettles! (see photos). Could not get close enough to remove nettles and ivy to see the flush bracket number.
Covered by nettles and ivy
Fight your way through! The nettles were high and here have been trampled down somewhat.
