Roadside verge parking, a little tricksie getting through to the field as FBM on wrong side of hedgerow. Scaffold-type railings, one concrete post damaged. CJO's gardening still in evidence but being colonized fast, cleared some growth away. Top screed and a little concrete missing from one corner; height tag missing.

Concrete. No height tag. Chips to top. Playpen hit by tractor and corner post damage. Completely lost under brambles when we finally found it! Gave it a severe prune and tidy-up before leaving.

FBM behind the hedge but still with its fence round so it makes it easier to find. There is an open field acces about 30 feet away. Just go through, turn left and it is in the corner.

Spent too long looking for this one from the road. Approached by farmer cutting the verge in large tractor. After a chat about what I was looking for he said he might know where it was. Given a ride in the tractor to within a few feet. Did not realise it was on the field side of the very wide hedge. Easy to see once through the gateway into the field. Few minor chips.

Totally hidden in brambles but thanks to previous loggs we found the fence around it. The farmer came along while we were there - he didn't know what it was for so we explained. He said we could clear the brambles if we wished!!

You can just see the fence around the benchmark!

I would never have found this without reference to previous logs. It is inside the hedge from the layby - entrance just to the S. It is now totally overgrown; I could just make out a small part of the iron fence which surrounds it and then had to clear away brambles and other vegetation to take a peep. There is a chunk of concrete missing from the top surface. OS Datum stud intact and anti-vandal place still there. No views at all.
