Route as Joeythecat. Sections of the route can be very wet and its littered with ankle twisting clump grass (which the wife took one look at and said i'll wait here!).

Accessed via the track which starts at NG864820, becomes a path through the trees to the forest edge and continues across the moorland to the bay below the pillar.

vgc, stonebuilt, metal cap, wide raised letters. Lovely situation. Unsure of best approach; I went from NG867823 but this was awkward due to wind-felled trees.
