Visited on way to speaking engagement at Blisworth. Parked in lay-by by tea-time-thunderous A5 then walked up bridleway past ruinous Ascote Lodge and field boundaries to cross ditch and fence to pillar.

Easy cycle up track to masts and then across the grassy field to trig. Lovely sun rise.

Was abit worried about the drive upto this one as I could not work out where the road was due to snow,I could see potholes and nothing else, nice start to the day though.

We parked at the gate on the track to the radio masts and just walked across the field of cows. Bloody things didn't even notice us....

Parked on pot holed road leading to field before vaulting gate into field full of sheep. Had a couple of them give me the eye but resisted the urge. Trig located on far side of field near hedge in good condition with cap present

I parked at the layby Scarfell suggested and followed his route. I crossed the barbed wire fence in the corner rather than by the trig though I don't think it is was any easier.

From A5 layby a pleasant stroll along bridleway (millenium way) past the derelict Astcote Lodge and then nip off around two sides of field unfortunately it brings you out on the wrong (North) side of the hedge/barbed wire fence but easily surmounted. Usual antenna. A perfect trig including original cap.
