MOVED. Primrose Hill S2586 from GR: SE 71641 52818. Permission from farmhouse on west side of site however permission should be sought from the farmhouse to the south (on right on approach up the road). It's original site has a new shed being built, It's been moved to a location at the SE of the site at SE 72117 52545 however the farmer told me they are yet to decide where to resite it permanently. Currently standing proud out of the ground.

Gave this a higher score than it probably deserved as a thank you to the friendly farmer who gave me permission. He deserves credit for keeping it standing, when it must get in the way of machinery so close to the cattle sheds.Well done vegibagger for the paint job, made the trig easy to spot from the farmyard.

Revisit to potentially re-paint. Spoke with farmer and he said had thoughts of maybe moving it, as it had been hit by a bit of machinery once. So I chose not to repaint it again today, but just took a FB negative pressing with air dry clay. Very long time since first visit.

Visible and easily accessible. I approached along the farm drive and as a tractor passed I asked permission to visit the pillar. This was readily given and I was told that I would be taken to it when I arrived at the farm. The pillar is at the side of a track withing the farm confines - my marking reflects the somewhat unusual location. Pillar is a little exposed but in good condition with concrete plug but all holes filled in.
