I am a frequent visitor to this one. It was infamous as before the car crash in 1997, some body had scrawled a "death threat" to the Princess of Wales in the spider. Nice! First time I went there I had a lot of problems as I relied on a bearing from the nearby mature plantations. Unfortunately they were not on the OS map (1st series 1:50 000) and I missed. Its a vast plateau, and to this day its the worst case of getting lost I have experienced. You may have some rough heather to cope with, but if lucky you will hit a path leading straight to this very flat summit.
