First trig pillar found! Hidden in hedge opposite side to lay-by, a little on from road junction. Had passed it many times and never knew it was there!

(19) Another Pillar visible from the roadside. Hard to photograph the top due to the hedge. moss and lichen covered. All intact. Did not view from the field side though. REVISIT: 24.12.18 As the weather was very mild today, and finding myself with a spare hour, a few revisits of local pillars was undertaken. Still pretty much covered from head to toe in moss. The top was easier to photograph today. Pillar history: Built on the 25th of June 1939, at a cost of 4 11s 9d. Last maintained by the OS in December of 1980.
