From mapped CP to NE. Accessed from FB to E (approx. NG 734677) , via N side massive clough and wall of gorse. Tried to return more direct across fields but again thwarted by deep clough with impossible to cross stream in spate - Coire Crom. Crossed by track bridge near sheep pens by Redpoint Farm - approx. No parking at the beach so had to go up the road and park at the viewpoint. Took a route across the field to the beach (very boggy in places) then across the beach and made for the trigpoint. Not as boggy as it looks and you can follow a line of flat boulders more or less all the way to the trig. Great views on a very hot day.

No cap. Via the beach, which meant underfoot wasn't too bad. Glorious view point.

Parked the car at the end of the road in the car park. Walked through the farm to the old fishing station then back along the beach. Kept to the sheep tracks as it is very very boggy in places. Followed the sheep track back along the headland towards the beach and car.

Parked at the large car park at the end of the Red Point road. Least boggy approach is via the beach, which I didn't take. Oh well. Trig is in a fine location. Great views over Torridon; Applecross, Skye and the Western Isles.

Trig in vgc. Open cap, no spider. Lovely view point over Rona to Skye. Easy walk, worth spending time on both beaches at sun rise or sunset to fully appreciate why this area is called Red Point.

vgc, no cap or plug, moorland, fine view. Beeline is rough boggy work: best via dunes unless you like studying marsh orchids.
