When I started out, it looked like it would be a dry day. How wrong i was to be! Locked bike to fence on Pudseys Close and walked up track. The gate at the reservoir was rather high for me to climb and looked rather rickety. The gate at the other side had been blocked up. And after I had walked all the way round i couldnt see any easy way in, so just took picture from outside the fence. The grass was rather wet and it started to rain on the way back to the bike.

As with everyone else, parked to the NNW on Pudseys Close, off Spring Lane. Climbed over the metal gate signposted Cookham Dean Service Reservoir, then walked along the access road to the covered reservoir. Reservoir compound was fenced off, easy climbed over the front gate. The hole in the fence at the rear gate has now been covered up & secured. Trig in very good condition, original metal cap, right sighthole open, all other sightholes closed. I left a 2p coin in the right sighthole for the next visitor to find.

Parked to N, just off Spring Lane; took water company access track to covered reservoir - low security so up and over gate. Pillar sits atop the resr at SW corner. Original cap in place, lightly indented lettering; RHD side sight hole open. Good views except S & SE where obscured by tree line.

Enjoyable walk along the Thames Path today in the sunshiiinne (blame Liam Gallagher!) from Marlow to Maidenhead taking in this trigpoint, missed when I was last in this area. Within a fenced reservoir, but an easy fence to hop over (by the gate)- in fine condition.
