Parked on the minor road to the north where there is a layby at the start of the track near Bryn Canol. South along track then followed footpath up SE through forest and sheepy fields. Went on to do the Marilyn afterwards.

Parked in the layby at Bryn-canol (SO0060965360) and followed the public footpath through the woods to near the television mast and then headed straight for the trig. Panoramic view.

Parked by New Covert Wood on minor road to south west. Followed rights of way over very wet ground. Views were worth the long winding approach.

Parked on the minor road to the south of the hill. Decided to go the quick way via Upper Cilgee farm. Owner /worker said yes after much 'this is not a footpath' and ended with 'just this once'. So up to the twin Marilyn tops, east one looks higher then trig.

Done from W. Trig is about a km beyond the pretty non-descript Marilyn summit, and beyond the mast. Did this hill again two hours later - left camera on top!

A nice spot overlooking Llandrindod Wells.Views good all round,though the Phone mast dominates to the West.Lovely walk in through the forest and heard first Cuckoo of the year.pillar seems to be further N East than given grid and position on Explorer 200 only about 35 metres but thats lot if its foggy!
