Parked in a housing estate in Tongwynlais and followed the public right of way through the forest and the farm field to the trigpoint.

Very similar to Glaslyn. Parked to south and followed PROW East passed platform then through next path gate and up through natural break in tree line on small path. Steep up following fence line through two fields, second has horses but took no interest, to top then across top track following fence until there is a horizontal wooden gate that can be crossed trig is just 20m from here. Trig in good condition 3SH open, cap missing, spider and FB in place.

A pleasant walk through the woods above Tongwynlais and across a couple of fields. Great views north especially of the Garth, views south of Cardiff frustratingly hidden by the trees.

A cold and wet walk up through Greenmeadow Woods. As I was returning to the right of way a farmer was coming up in a 4x4 to check on his sheep. Good job that he was otherwise preoccupied as I had left a conspicuous trail of footprints in the snow leading right to the trig.

Reached on a snowy day,parked in hotel at j32. Found footpath and followed up through woods. T/P easy to find, close to fence line south.Good snowy views N,E & W,views S obscured by trees.

Nice bag at the top of a field of sheep, nice views to the north (including of the garth) with views of cardiff obscured by trees. I approached from the south, parking in the (now boarded up) hotel at the junction between the M4 and A470, and followed the well signposted path through the woods.

Easier than anticipated,looked at access from N but have aversion to farmyards when trigpointing.Parked at foot of hill near M4 bridge crossing,follow FP into horse paddocks then up slopw through sheep field.One fence and you are there. Pillar in good condition. Views ok ,but excellent of Cardiff on they way back.

Its been on my list to do for a while this one but for some reason never got around to it, maybe becasue I thought it was a difficult one. In practice, the footpath goes through the same field that the trig is in, just the other end of it. Nice views north.

Parked in layby opposite farm, asked permission which was granted by the farmer. My 100th Log so a bit of a landmark for me

We parked in the pull-in on the lane NNE of the TP, just by the entrance to Rhiwbina Farm. We walked up through the farm yard and into the top field, the trig point is easily spotted once halfway up the field. The field contained sheep with lambs but they were on the far end of the field so were undisturbed, I'd already spoken to someone in the farm and they knew where we were going and didn't seem to mind. The pillar is still in good condition as already reported, the views were pretty good but tree coverage will obscure the view later in the year.

There's easy parking just to the north of Rhiwbina Farm. Through the farmyard following the path round then up open pasture to the trig. Plug missing.
