Today myself and Alma Aurea are having a walk on Dartmoor visiting Eylesbarrow Mine, Ringmoor Down/Gutter Tor and then Ditsworthy Warren. A nice trigpoint to visit on our walk, some far reaching views.

Really cool plaque and description of trig, acknowledging Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team. Nice view over to Gutter Tor itself, and probably beyond (I say probably as fog hung around all day). Recommend taking in Eastern Tor, Ditsworthy Warren and Legis Tor.

Found on a walk around Ditsworthy Warren. Geocaching brought me here and even though it was surrounded by cattle I had to shoo them away so I could bag this trig at the same time.

Walked uppast Gutter Tor, from parking area to NNE. Pillar retains original centre cap, lightly indented lettering; FB is 'BSM' style; all sight holes open. Plaque on rear face proclaims, correctly, this is Gutter Tor Trig Point. But more correctly it's the Trig Stn on Gutter Tor, that is named Ringmoor Down by the OS - pedants rule! Extensive panoramic views.

Fabulous example of a well maintained trig point. Walked up from the Scout Hut via Gutter Tor before then setting off up the Plym to eventually Ducks Pool. A bit damp at the start of the day!

Parked near the Scout Hut and walked uphill through Gutter Tor and onwards to this trig point whilst geocaching with friends. Lost count how many times I have been here, but only today have I remembered to take a photo and log my visit on this site! Trig has 2 plaques commemorating members of the DSRG, and commands a 360 degree view of Dartmoor moorland = just wonderful! Trig in good condition too.

End of a lovely walk from CP at the ford via Nun's Cross, Plym Ford, the fine Bronze Age archaeology of Drizzle Combe and Ditsworthy Warren House. Excellent all round views on a sunny evening. Metal cap, shallow letters, all s/holes open, plaque to Dartmoor Search and Rescue team, vgc.

Out caching so we popped over to the Gutter Tor Trig. Puzzled why its called Ringmore Down, but never mind hey. Views great today in the sun, felt like summer not winter.

\what a fantastic day. First time out on the Moors for quite a while. With two good friends weater good but a shower at lunch time.Puzzled why this is called Ringmoor Down when the plaque on the Trig say Gutter Tor. Far better than Christmas shopping. Sorry to say I've done mine that's why us boys were let out.

On the way there, it started to hail, then the rain came down in stair rods. Shortly after, the thunder and lightning started, straight above us. Not a comfortable place to be. Got absolutely soaked and the rain masked the views. Metal plug with lightly indented lettering.

This is the first pillar I can remember seeing, on one of my bike trips out from Plymouth back in the late 1950s or early 1960s. Not much has changed around here, I'm pleased to say.
