Found on a walk around Ditsworthy Warren. Geocaching brought me here and even though it was surrounded by cattle I had to shoo them away so I could bag this trig at the same time.

Walked uppast Gutter Tor, from parking area to NNE. Pillar retains original centre cap, lightly indented lettering; FB is 'BSM' style; all sight holes open. Plaque on rear face proclaims, correctly, this is Gutter Tor Trig Point. But more correctly it's the Trig Stn on Gutter Tor, that is named Ringmoor Down by the OS - pedants rule! Extensive panoramic views.

Trig has 2 plaques commemorating members of the DSRG, and commands a 360 degree view of Dartmoor moorland = just wonderful! Trig in good condition too.
