No entry to actual reservoir. Another one bites the dust with nothing left to see. Reservoir is nicely kept though but a pack of barking dogs from the adjacent house spoilt the ambience.

GPS indicated S side of track, 4m inside reservoir compound fence. I drove up after a police car: he parked by the resr so I had a chat before taking photos; he seemed familiar with "trig collectors". Maybe I should have asked him for a reference! OS trig archive say Destroyed 05/69, replaced by punch mark which was refixed in 1980 at SE 42532 09891 - presumably up on top of resr (I didn't have this info with me to check on site).

geocaching nearby,walked by the res,no sign of trig but had to look

Approached from road to south up track to Ringstone Farm. No access to reservoir, but good views over the Dearne Valley and east. Check out Howell woods while you are here. Another top 20 bagged!

Knew it was missing but went for the view anyway, path closest to it has high fences on either side and you can't see anything

Gone to reservoir. Walked around the outside of the security fence - nothing there. Extensive views westward.
