I sure the Berntsen is still there but I couldn’t find it given the overgrown grass and weeds.

Had only a couple of minutes before picking wife up at Crathes castle. Paced out distance and stuck trigging screwdriver in. A hit! Trigging trowel produced a stone. Repeated twice more then gave up. I'll be back!

took me a while too. 3m S of old mossy inspection chamber, 2.5m from edge of verge, approx 27m n of road sign. loosely reburied as is a mown verge. 3" down.

I thought I would be able to find this one by prodding in the grass with my shoe, but no. We were on our way over to Spean Bridge so I didn't spend any more time here.

One false start - unearthed flat stone - then found it under a molehill. I only dug out enough to confirm I'd found it.
