Bagged whilst completing a stage of the SW Coast Path from Helford Crossing to Maenporth, on a perfect day of breezy sunshine. A small diversion took me to the right field in which 2 families were camping. A very nice lady let me know I was actually on private land so I apologised and told her why I was there. "A what?" she said. By then I had spotted my target and was able to show her and her mate what I was after, and they feigned interest for enough time to bid the sweaty geek farewell as I back-tracked to rejoin my wife for a leisurely and early lunch of quiche (I know, really!) in the secluded cove below.

I don't think this is NT land, that starts below the next hedgeline east. We walked down the path towards Rosemullion Head and at the first gate I jumped into the field with the trig in and headed back up to the hedgeline. This is next to the farmyard and pretty exposed. I climbed onto the bank and manged to crawl around and check the FB no without making myself to obvious. I didn't check the plug (which was well overgrown with ivy) as this would have been obvious to anyone in the farmyard. Fair play to NR for hopping the gate to photograph the FB.
